SCIF Construction & Renovation

Effective security during Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction and renovation projects is critical. Our approach includes developing a project specific construction security plan that details each security measure needed to maintain strict access control and physical security. Our special security officers provide access control to the project, escorting for any uncleared personnel, armed guard protection and site security management through Construction Surveillance Technicians (CSTs). Our teams are experts in implementing these plans effectively in order to manage uncleared workers, prevent unauthorized access to security systems, and prevent the installation of covert surveillance devices, denying any attempt at tampering with the project. 

We implement and execute security practices with Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705) and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements, to guarantee your project is protected according to those standards.

Temporary SCIFs

When classified operations or other sensitive functions require a temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) to establish a secure environment, our end-to-end security services meet all needs. Although temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) builds often demand the same stringent security measures as permanent facilities, finding a provider equipped to handle these requirements for short-term projects can be challenging. Site Security During Inspections

SCIF/Secure Enclosure Testing

CenCore conducts a full range of shielded effectiveness testing for our products and on Customer sites. The purpose is to measure how well the enclosure blocks magnetic, electric, and plane wave emanations across the full range of frequencies, between 9kHz – 20GHz based on the needs of most shielded enclosures. 

Standard tests include: IEEE 299, NSA 94-106, and MIL STD 285 for shielded enclosures.

Additional tests are are also conducted by our engineers for both Government and commercial facilities, including: MIL STD 188-125-1 and MIL STD-125-2 for HEMP.
