CenCore Awarded $19 Million Contract by DoD to Develop Cutting-Edge Mobile SCIFS

SPRINGVILLE, Utah, May 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — CenCore has been awarded $19M by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the U.S. Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL) to build the first of its kind mobile Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) at the TS/SCI level for the USMC’s Project 7/11. Project 7/11, a forward-operating U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) initiative, will rapidly deploy CenCore’s containerized secure units (CSUs), otherwise known as mobile SCIFs, to the battlefield. CenCore’s exclusively patented CSUs are the only 100% TS/SCI and Special Access Programs (SAP-level) American-made units in the marketplace, manufactured in Aurora, CO, and will allow the U.S. military to boost U.S. military and intelligence employment in the region. These CSUs will enable completely secure edge computing, mission command, and resilient communications in austere environments for the warfighter.

CenCore’s work with Project 7/11 represents a new phase in the USMC modernization strategy — one centered on rapidly fieldable, low-signature infrastructure, that extends the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) to integrate command and control across all domains, creating a unified system for military operations.

“This milestone marks a significant achievement for CenCore as a recognized program of record for the U.S. DoD and the USMC. CenCore delivers unparalleled speed, survivability, and integration at the TS/SCI level, all while being entirely made in the U.S.,” stated Adam Fife, CEO of CenCore. “We are honored to bring more jobs to America while supporting the DOD and USMC with deployable infrastructure that can operate anywhere in the world — and deliver a variety of innovative capabilities to the warfighter within hours, not months.”

Headquartered in Springville, UT, CenCore is a trusted partner in delivering innovative security solutions in an ever-evolving threat landscape. CenCore delivers U.S.-made, tech-agnostic, open-source security systems that ensure global secure communications. CenCore prioritizes cost-effective, high-performance solutions over superficial appeal.
